Growth Group Description

We will read and meet one week and then the following week, we will gather to share a meal with the food covered in the previous week. We hope to find restaurants owned by immigrant women. This Growth Group will end on Nov. 1 but before then, we will decide if want to continue with another book focusing on immigrants: A Map is Only One Story by Nicole Chung & Mensah Demary, What We Hunger For by Sun Yung Shin or The Immigrant Advantage by Claudia Kolker.
