They began with the pandemic. Going from in-person to online church meant we would not be seeing old friends or making new ones at our church home.
Our church hospitality board came up with the concept of Fiesta Fridays as a way to get folks to be able to come to church and interact in a physically distanced way.
People bring their folding chairs, maybe a little table, food & beverage, and sit about 6 feet apart. First eating and drinking a little, then “visiting” with folks.
The start time varies with daylight savings time, and Fiesta Fridays have evolved to adapt to changing circumstances.
Now, one Friday evening per month, we host an in-person at-distance social gathering on the church campus.
Often, there is live music!
Join us at 7 pm and bring your own chair, food, and beverage for some fun and fellowship.
It’s a great way to new folks safely and enjoy some great music.
