The Organ at First Congregational

The organ at First Congregational United Church of Christ of Houston is a product of the Reuter Organ Company of Lawrence, Kansas.  It was installed and dedicated in 1994.  We continue to be pleased with our selection of builder and design of the organ’s specifications.  Its 14 stops, 19 ranks and 1286 pipes are “right” for our church.  For flexibility, the Great as well as the Swell is enclosed. Virtually every stop can serve as both a solo sound and as part of an ensemble; a much-desired economy in a medium-sized organ in a modest-sized room like our Meeting House.
