Photos from the Party for Jack Cook and Family

Members of First Congregational Church gave the Cook family a Texas send-off December 23 following the morning service.   There was a barbecue lunch and gifts, including a wall clock with an inscribed casing of Texas oak (o.k., it looks like Texas oak); ice scrapers for use in the frosty North, and a James Avery heart necklace for Nancy Cook.   Oh, yes, and there was the hat, which is sure to make a fashion statement in Connecticut.  Pastor Cook has accepted a position at The First Church of Christ, Congregational, UCC of New Britain, Connecticut.
