You Can Help Campus Ministries
--Bake cookies! (Turning on the oven in Houston will not set the
house
on fire.)
Homemade cookies help set the tone when Teddy and Phil Hardy invite
students to their home for Bible study. Commercial cookies and other
snacks are needed for the listening posts on campuses. Support for
various meals served is always welcome.
Teddy can provide details on what is needed and when.

There is a mission bin in the Assembly Room at FCC where packaged
snacks and used computer cartridges can be left. The latter are
traded for paper supplies.

--Pray for the students and for the ministry.
--Volunteer to assist with The Listening Post. You'll benefit from
the joy of helping a student, typically someone from a different culture or
background. And you'll benefit from the training Teddy offers.
Teddy
has been serving Campus Ministries since the early 90s. The
award-winning
ministry at UCC Central exists because she suggested it to the
school president. She's the only minister in the denomination in Houston
with a history of all three specialties: commissioned minister, licensed
minister and, as of a year and a half ago, ordained minister, with all the
experience that entails. And she's a lot of fun to be with!
